Built for Public Service: A New Chapter for Mark III

A New Chapter for Mark III

Today, I’m proud to introduce a refreshed Mark III.

This moment represents more than a visual update. While you will notice a refined identity, updated design system, and a more vibrant color palette, the most important change is the clarity it brings to who we are, what we stand for, and how we serve.

Over the past several months, we have taken a deliberate and thoughtful approach to evaluating how Mark III aligns with the public sector organizations we support. This effort was not about redefining our company, it was about strengthening alignment between our identity and the realities our clients face every day.

As organizations operating in the public sector, our clients carry significant responsibility. They lead counties, support school systems, manage public resources, and make decisions that directly impact employees, families, and entire communities. Their work is complex, fast-moving, and often carried out under pressure and public accountability.

That level of responsibility requires more than a transactional approach to partnership. It requires a trusted advisor who understands not only the technical aspects of the work, but also the human, operational, and political realities that shape decision-making in the public sector.

That belief is what has guided this next chapter of Mark III.

Grounded in Public Service

At its core, Mark III exists to serve public sector organizations that serve others.

Our clients are not simply managing insurance or benefits programs. They are ensuring essential services continue to function, employees are supported, and communities receive the stability they depend on. That responsibility carries real weight, and it deserves a partner who understands it deeply.

This understanding has always been part of Mark III. What has changed is how clearly we now express it.

Experience That Shapes Our Perspective

One of the defining strengths of Mark III is the experience of our team.

We are made up of former public sector leaders and professionals who have held the very roles our clients occupy today. Our team includes county managers, HR leaders, finance officers, superintendents, and benefits professionals, individuals who have operated within the same systems, faced the same constraints, and navigated the same challenges.

That experience shapes how we think and how we work. It gives us clarity on the urgency behind decisions, the scrutiny they carry, and the importance of getting them right.

We know what it means to balance competing priorities, manage limited resources, and support large, diverse populations with accountability and care. That perspective informs how we approach every engagement, every solution, and every client relationship.

Because when you’ve sat in those roles, you don’t just understand the work, you understand the responsibility behind it.

A More Focused Expression of Who We Are

This refreshed brand reflects a more intentional expression of Mark III.

Our updated identity system, including a more dynamic and vibrant color palette anchored by a stronger blue, was designed to reflect trust, stability, and reliability in an environment where clarity and confidence matter most. These are not simply design decisions; they are a reflection of how we aim to show up for our clients every day.

Beyond the visual identity, this refresh brings greater consistency across how we communicate, how we present ourselves, and how we articulate our value. It ensures that every interaction with Mark III reflects clarity, purpose, and professionalism.

We are committed to delivering clarity in complex environments, consistency in execution, and confidence in decisions that affect employees, families, and entire communities. Our role is not only to respond to challenges, but to help our clients navigate them with greater insight, stability, and support.

Built for Public Service

At the center of it all is a simple idea that now defines our brand:

Built for Public Service. Serving those who serve all.

This is not a tagline. It is a statement of identity and accountability. It reflects the organizations we serve, the work they do, and the responsibility we share in supporting them.

It also reflects a promise: to show up with consistency, insight, and understanding in every interaction, every engagement, and every decision.

We will continue to invest in our expertise, strengthen our partnerships, and refine how we support public sector leaders in the work they do every day.

We are proud of where we have been. We are confident in who we are today. And we are committed to where we are going next.
